1
To make the book, cut flaps off of envelopes. Place the envelopes together and punch two holes in the bottom edge to form the spine. 2
Take two pieces of ribbon and tie through the holes to create the binding. Be sure to leave the ribbons loose enough that the book can be opened comfortably. 3
Cut six 2.75” x 5.25” rectangles of patterned paper and adhere 4 pieces to the center of each “inside” page, making sure to alternate which side of the pattern shows. 4
Decorate with stickers, faux postage or postcards, mini brads or decorative paper clips. 5
Decorate pages with remaining scraps of paper, brads, stickers or anything else you have that coordinates nicely. 6
To make the tags (which will be hidden in the envelope pockets), decorate with stickers, faux postage or postcards, mini brads or decorative paper clips. Tie ribbon through the hole at top of tag. Handwrite messages, inspirational quotes, poems, or even place money or other treasures along with the tags in the envelopes.
